I’m a medical doctor, medical illustrator and writer with over 10 years of clinical experience. I work with healthcare organisations, educators and researchers to create clear, accurate and visually engaging medical communication.My work bridges clinical knowledge and creative communication, helping make complex ideas understandable, engaging and genuinely useful for the people who need them.

About me

I’m a medical doctor, medical illustrator and science communicator based in Aotearoa New Zealand.I have over a decade of clinical experience as a medical doctor and a strong background in health science. Alongside this, I’ve been illustrating and creating visual content for more than 15 years.Over time, my work has naturally evolved toward medical communication — where I combine clinical accuracy with thoughtful design and clear language to help people understand their bodies, health and medical care.I’m particularly passionate about:

  • Education that is accurate and accessible

  • Visual explanations that genuinely help people learn

I enjoy working on projects that sit at the intersection of medicine, education and creativity, and I value collaboration, clarity and care in everything I create.

All qualifications obtained at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
